Meet the hottest Renaultsport Megane ever – the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy, which Renault hopes will eat the SEAT Leon Cupra for breakfast around the infamous Nurburgring test track. Packing, you guessed it, 275hp, the 275 Trophy has an extra 10hp over the standard Megane Renaultsport. Exact performance figures are still to be confirmed but Renault tells us the Trophy will return 37.7mpg, with peak power from its twin-turbocharged engine coming at 5,500rpm.
BMW's M division has gone back to the drawing board with the M5, giving the fifth generation of the iconic four-door a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine—the first time Munich's class-defining performance sedan has gone without a naturally aspirated powerplant since its introduction in 1984. Automotive photographer Nigel Harniman was riding around the Costa Del Arcane in Spain when he chanced upon a flea market with a Kodak Brownie 127, a legend of 1950s photography -- simple and popular, it sold in the millions between 1952 and 1967. "Anyone as old as me remembers their parents or grandparents owning a Brownie," Harniman said. The Bakelite construction was intact, and its canvas case was in great shape.
